  1. Boil the clothes

Boil water and put the damaged clothes in the hot water. Leave the chewing gum to soak. Take a toothbrush or a knife and remove the gum from clothes.

  1.  Use pharmaceutical alcohol

Pharmaceutical alcohol is easy to be used on clothes because don’t stain and don’t fade the colors. To remove the gum, pour pharmaceutical alcohol on a dishwashing sponge. Rub the area with gum using this sponge and leave the pharmaceutical alcohol to act a couple of minutes. After that, take a spoon and remove the gum.

  1. Ironing the clothes

Place on the ironing table a paper. Put over it the damaged clothes and ironing it as usual.  The gum will stick on the paper and your clothes will be like new.

  1. Use tape

I’m sure you have tape in your house. Cut a piece and stick it on the area with gum and press very well. Using power, pull very fast the tape. The gum should unstick from your clothes. If not, repeat the process again.

  1. Freeze your clothes

Pack the clothes with the damaged area in the exterior. Leave it in the freezer for a couple of hours. The gum will freeze and you will be able to remove it, using a knife. Be careful not to cut your clothes![/expand]
